Software Engineer HMI Application

Introduction & Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer specialized in HMI applications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in full software development life cycle for Android projects, particularly in JAVA/Kotlin. Core competency in automotive embedded software development is essential for success in this role.

Main Responsibilities:

The primary duties will encompass:

• Developing Android applications in JAVA/Kotlin.
• Managing the full software development lifecycle.
• Collaborating within an Agile SCRUM team.
• Integrating and validating methodologies in automotive software projects.
• Providing support and guidance to junior developers.
• Conducting debugging and log analysis.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Computer Science.
• 2-3 years of experience in Automotive Software Development on Android (AOSP/AAOS).
• 5-8 years of overall professional experience.
• Expertise in Android architecture and framework.
• Development experience using Android Studio and Jetpack Compose.
• Proficiency in HMI wireframing/prototyping using Figma.
• Knowledge of continuous build processes using Jenkins and Linux tools.
• Familiarity with requirement management and issue-tracking tools (e.g., IBM Doors, JIRA, GITLab).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Nice to Have:

• A-SPICE knowledge.
• Experience in Agile development and SCRUM methodology.
