Senior Network Engineer (Cisco)

Location: Remote

On-call / maintenance activities outside business hours

Responsibilities

• Planning customer networks in the ACI and legacy environment for new and existing customers

• Planning the infrastructure based on ticket information (creation of low-level design documents)

• Coordination of the necessary steps with the various infrastructure areas such as Windows, Unix, Database and Storage

• Creation of service requests for the implementation of the design documents

• Carrying out the planned configurations

• Quality assurance of the configurations as well as analysis and troubleshooting according to company's process specifications

• Creation and implementation of changes

• Definition of the network concept (HLD/LLD)

• Documentation in accordance with the company's documentation guidelines

Requirements

• Cisco Networking, Cisco ACI, load balancer F5

• Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills

• Experience working in complex enterprise or banking environments

• Understanding of change management and production support processes

• High attention to detail and strong ownership mindset

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills

• Fluent English

• Availability to participate in evening and weekend maintenance activities on a regular basis
