This role focuses on building, scaling, and maintaining the IKP infrastructure to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability for internal customers worldwide.

Role description

• Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of the infrastructure platform.

• Diagnose and resolve IKP infrastructure issues.

• Support the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of the Kubernetes platform.

• Troubleshoot incidents, performance issues, and integration failures, and perform root cause analysis.

• Provide 24x7 support as part of an on-call rota (weekend support required).

• Manage a small team of 5, including scheduling and collaborating with the Global SRE Team Lead.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration, including strong knowledge of Kubernetes concepts, operations, and troubleshooting tools.

• Understanding of containerization and orchestration, as well as Unix administration skills.

• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management) and infrastructure as code.

• Strong analytical and communication skills to analyze logs, monitoring dashboards, and collaborate across teams.

• Proficiency in English (business-level communication required).
