About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong Databricks expertise to join a data-focused project. In this role, you will be responsible for building and optimizing modern data solutions within the Azure ecosystem, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability of data platforms.

Your responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data solutions using Databricks and Azure services
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data processing
• Develop data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, and Azure Functions
• Create and optimize complex SQL queries and database performance
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions
• Maintain and improve CI/CD processes and code repositories using Git
• Ensure high standards of data quality, security, and governance

Must have

• Strong commercial experience with Databricks (senior level)
• Very good Python programming skills
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Experience with Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions
• Advanced SQL skills, including query performance tuning and optimization
• Experience in designing and developing modern data platforms
• Experience working with Git repositories and version control systems
• Good communication skills and ability to work with distributed teams
• Availability for onsite work from the Wrocław office

Nice to have

• Experience in ETL development using SSIS
• Knowledge of Azure data platform services and cloud best practices
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines in data engineering projects
