About the project

As Director, Head of gTech Ads, Large Customer Sales, Central Europe, you will make customer experience a key differentiator for Google Ads by leading a large team of technical and media experts, as well as senior sales engagement leads across Central Europe supporting the Large Customer Sales (LCS) organization to achieve their business and revenue goals.

In this role, you will manage the relationship with Central Europe’s LCS leadership team, represent and be accountable for all of gTech Ads services and programs. You will serve as a trusted adviser to C-level customers on their overall Ads services, including media, technical, and customer support plans. You will work closely with gTech Ads delivery hubs and other regional teams to ensure Central Europe’s LCS priorities are achieved while ensuring global consistency of operations where possible.

Additionally, you will be responsible for customer satisfaction of our LCS customers in Central Europe with gTech Ads services. You will establish an engagement team that ensures an effective two way communication between our LCS customers and gTech Ads to provide visibility on various service requests and progress thereof, and incorporate customers feedback into our operations in a structured manner.

You will evolve the organization and develop high-performing teams that have the right consultative and technical skills to understand our advertisers' needs and deliver custom technical and media solutions. You will help Sales Managers drive their teams to deliver on ambitious goals, and take initiative to partner with clients to exceed business growth across markets and verticals. You will communicate, train, and motivate teams, and utilize analytical approaches to sales management.

Your responsibilities

• Lead a team of technical and media experts to help LCS customers achieve their objectives through developing service plans that support Customer Business Objectives as well as our LCS business goals with main focus on business generation growth.
• Deliver integrated media, technical, and support for Central Europe’s LCS customers, ensuring optimal return on investment (ROI). Drive GTM services, leveraging engineering, data, and ads expertise.
• Partner with sales and GTM leadership to define customer goals, drive product adoption, business generation pipeline, and exceptional client satisfaction.
• Manage a matrixed organization through joint planning, OKRs, and success metrics management whilst being a role model for building agentic use cases with customers as well as internal agentic workflows.
• Drive client satisfaction by establishing communication channels for service requests, feedback, and escalations, acting as liaison between clients and gTech Ads.

Our requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience in customer or ad sales operations.
• 15 years of people management experience, leading regional/global teams.
• 10 years of digital marketing experience with advertisers, agencies, or ad tech companies.
• 10 years of experience in advertising solutions and media landscape (offline and online).
• Ability to communicate in English and German fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Optional

• Experience in AdTech industry and Internet technologies and exposure to data integration and cloud technologies.
• Ability to lead complex internal and external stakeholder management. Expereince as a strategic advisor to C-suites, VPs, and SVPs. Ability to influence cross-functional teams to drive collaboration and outcomes.
• Ability to create a vision for the future, communicate clearly, and inspire people to follow.
• Ability to translate product and technical concepts to non-technical and executive audience, navigating ambiguity in fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• Ability to lead and manage a workplace maximizing talents of each person to achieve the vision and mission of the organization.
