System Analyst

You will join a team developing solutions within the Customer domain, supporting the establishment and maintenance of relationships with individual and institutional customers. The projects cover customer identification, identity verification, screening, AML/PEP risk assessment, KYC processes, and integrations with external systems.

The project is at an advanced stage of delivery. You will join a team of four system analysts. The team is geographically distributed and works in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Technology environment: REST, AsyncAPI, SOAP, Kafka, RabbitMQ, BPM, Camunda, PostgreSQL, SQL, UML, BPMN, Enterprise Architect, and Jira.

Working model: remote, with optional access to offices in Wrocław or Warsaw.

Responsibilities

• Independently translate defined business requirements into detailed system analysis and specifications for developers or AI agents.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to clarify requirements, screen details, process variants, and edge cases.

• Prepare user interface (GUI) specifications and refine business logic.

• Design integrations between systems, including REST APIs and interfaces documented using AsyncAPI.

• Document processes and system solutions using UML, BPMN, and Enterprise Architect.

• Deliver analysis tasks covering customer identification, identity verification, screening, AML/PEP risk assessment, and KYC.

• Provide functional support and validation during deployments and resolve production issues as part of second-line support.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in system analysis and the ability to independently translate business requirements into detailed solution specifications.

• Ability to design REST APIs and document asynchronous communication interfaces using AsyncAPI.

• Practical knowledge of UML, BPMN, and Enterprise Architect, particularly process documentation, class diagrams, and sequence diagrams.

• Knowledge of SQL sufficient to write SELECT queries and perform simple data modifications, regardless of the database engine.

• Ability to analyse and refine GUI specifications, business logic, and system integrations.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and team members.

• Independence, commitment, and accountability for assigned tasks.

• An educational background in STEM; economics-related degrees, particularly econometrics, are also accepted.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Camunda.

• Knowledge of SOAP, Jira, and the software development lifecycle.

Previous experience in the AML/KYC domain is not required
