What it’s really like to work here

At Commerce-UI, we trust each other’s judgment and take pride in our craft. Everyone here owns their work - not because someone expects it, but because we care about what we build and the people we build it with.

We believe in high standards and flexibility, and we back that with real autonomy from day one. You’ll quickly see how we operate: fast, focused, and with a lot of trust that everyone knows what they’re doing.

We don’t rely on layers of management or rigid playbooks. Instead, we collaborate closely, share context openly, and help each other grow. Things move quickly, but that’s part of the fun - it’s how we learn, adapt, and ship meaningful products for iconic brands.

If you value ownership, clarity, and a team that believes in mutual trust and high craftsmanship, you’ll feel right at home with us.

Why you’ll love working here

• Small, senior, passionate team - no bureaucracy, real impact

• Work on ambitious, design-led projects for global brands

• Freedom to shape how we build things

• Flexible, remote-friendly culture

How our hiring process looks like?

1. Application → We care more about what you’ve done and the results you’ve achieved than a polished CV. Send us a short message/video describing your experience, impact, and why you think you’d be a good fit for Commerce-UI, along with your CV and any relevant links or portfolio.

2. Discovery call → this is short (35 minutes) mutual check-in - we want to understand your expectations and share ours.

3. Homework → design exercise for selected candidates who are seriously considered for the position.

4. Presentation (60 min) → call with our lead designer to discuss the homework and have a chance to talk about your experience

5. Offer → if it’s a match, we’ll schedule a short call (20-30 minutes) to go over the details and next steps. If we don’t move forward we’ll do our best to give you thoughtful feedback
