Work model: hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa / Łódź (3 days per week from the office)

Project

We are looking for an experienced Senior Programme Manager to lead a large-scale AML transformation programme within an international financial services organisation. The role focuses on coordinating multiple workstreams, managing cross-functional dependencies, driving regulatory initiatives, and ensuring successful delivery across various business areas and legal entities.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Lead and coordinate multiple AML-related initiatives across the organisation

• Manage programme governance, reporting, risk management, and executive communication

• Drive alignment across business, technology, compliance, legal, and operations teams

• Oversee implementation activities spanning multiple business areas and legal entities

• Manage programme roadmaps, dependencies, budgets, and resource planning

• Prepare steering committee materials and executive-level presentations

• Ensure regulatory requirements are translated into actionable delivery plans

• Identify and mitigate programme risks and delivery challenges

• Support organisational change management and stakeholder engagement activities

• Mentor Project Managers and delivery leads across the programme

Expected competences and knowledge

• 8+ years of experience in Programme or Project Management

• Proven track record delivering large-scale transformation programmes

• Experience in Banking or Financial Services

• Strong stakeholder management and governance experience

• Experience working with regulatory, compliance, AML, KYC, or Risk-related initiatives

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Fluent English

Nice to have:

• Experience with AMLA-related initiatives

• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile certifications

• Experience working in complex international organisations
