Are you an experienced Python Backend Engineer looking for the right place to build integrations that matter? Do you want to help modernise how Research and Development systems exchange data and support scientific work across the organisation? Join us and be part of our central integration team, where you will help drive the work in building a modern integration layer supporting Research and Development systems. We work in a hybrid setup where strong skills in being transparent and available is a must.

Please note, the role is hybrid (the frequency of office present will be discussed durring the interviews by the Client) in Warsaw office.

What we are looking for We are seeking a +15 year experienced candidate with an educational background in Computer Science, Software Development or Engineering, as well as experience in some of the following areas:

Zakres obowiązków

• Design and implement API-first architectures.
• Build reusable integration capabilities
• Drive standardization of API contracts, schemas, and governance
• Lead adoption of event-based integrations using Kafka.
• Define event standards and integration patterns.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Build cloud-native services running on Azure Kubernetes.
• Define CI/CD standards using GitHub Actions.Improve observability, monitoring, and deployment automation.
• Participate in architecture and Design reviews.
• Mentor engineers and establish engineering best practices.
• Drive technology modernization and technical roadmap execution.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise standards, security, and compliance requirements.
