🚀 About the role

We are looking for an experienced Product Designer (UX/UI) to collaborate with us on various digital product development projects.

At Kyotu Technology, we work with international clients on web applications, SaaS platforms, and custom software solutions. Depending on the project, you may be involved in designing a new product from scratch, improving an existing application, or developing specific features and user journeys.

We are looking for someone who can confidently take ownership of the entire design process — from understanding business requirements and defining user flows to delivering polished, development-ready interfaces.

This role requires more than strong design skills. We value excellent communication, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work directly with clients, challenge assumptions, and explain design decisions.

We also expect a modern, AI-native approach to product design, including the practical use of AI tools to improve design workflows and prepare solutions that can be efficiently implemented by AI-assisted development teams.

🧠 Your responsibilities

• take ownership of the end-to-end UX/UI design process for digital products and features

• translate business requirements and user needs into intuitive, effective product experiences

• design complete user journeys, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes

• create high-quality, visually polished user interfaces for web and mobile applications

• work directly with international clients to understand requirements, discuss ideas, and present design solutions

• proactively propose improvements and challenge requirements when better solutions are possible

• clearly explain and justify design decisions based on usability, business goals, and technical feasibility

• create and maintain reusable components and design systems in Figma

• prepare well-structured, development-ready designs, including clear specifications and component states

• collaborate closely with developers to ensure smooth design implementation

• use AI-powered tools to accelerate design exploration, prototyping, documentation, and handoff

• structure design deliverables to support efficient implementation using AI-assisted development workflows

🧩 Must haves

• minimum 5 years of commercial experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design, or similar roles

• strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality UX and UI work across complex digital products

• proven experience independently managing the complete product design process, from initial requirements to final UI delivery

• strong understanding of UX principles, information architecture, user flows, and interaction design

• excellent UI design skills, with strong attention to visual quality, consistency, typography, and usability

• advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, Auto Layout, and design systems

• experience designing complex web applications, SaaS platforms, or other digital products

• ability to create clear, structured, and implementation-ready design documentation

• hands-on experience using AI tools in everyday product design workflows

• understanding of how to prepare designs, components, and specifications for efficient implementation by AI-assisted development teams

• strong sense of ownership and ability to independently drive design activities

• excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

• confidence in working directly with clients, discussing requirements, proposing solutions, and defending design decisions

• proactive, solution-oriented mindset and strong problem-solving skills

• English at C1 level or higher, including confidence in client meetings and design presentations

✨ Nice to have

• experience designing products from scratch, including early-stage product discovery

• experience working with AI-assisted prototyping and design-to-code workflows

• familiarity with tools such as Figma Make, Lovable, v0, Cursor, or Claude Code

• understanding of frontend development principles and technologies such as HTML, CSS, and React

• experience collaborating with AI-native engineering teams

• experience conducting usability testing or user research

• knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices, including WCAG

• experience working with international startups or enterprise clients
