About the project

We are looking for a Senior System/Embedded Architect to join a dynamic project focused on developing an Automatic Milking System. This role involves collaborating with teams in Wroclaw, Poland, and Tumba, Sweden, requiring you to work at least three days a week in the office and occasionally travel to the other location. You will play a crucial role in transitioning the project from the Concept Phase into the Development Phase, resolving architectural choices, and maturing the requirements set. Your responsibilities

• Supporting the transition of the project from the Concept Phase to the Development Phase within the defined technical area
• Driving the resolution of open architectural choices and ensuring alignment with project goals
• Completing and maturing the requirement set while maintaining consistency with the system architecture
• Coaching engineers and Product Owners in Requirements Engineering and best practices
• Owning and being responsible for a defined requirement area and its successful delivery
• Facilitating architectural trade-off discussions and refining requirements to meet project needs
• Supporting system decomposition and allocation of requirements to subsystems
• Providing system-level support during the Development Phase through information sessions and investigations

Our requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in software architecture and development
• Over 5 years of experience in requirements engineering
• Broad knowledge of software and hardware system architecture, multi-layered systems, and architecture patterns
• Previous work with requirement management tools, preferably Polarion
• Demonstrated skills in planning and leading workshops
• Knowledge and experience with Agile working methods
• Familiarity with Ethernet, TCP/IP, CAN Protocol, LIN, and OPC UA
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact across functions and cultures
• Ability to plan work effectively to meet delivery deadlines
• Experience driving change in a multinational setup
• Advanced level of English
