Senior Data Mesh Platforms Engineer

Your responsibilities

Welcome to Core Technology, where we engineer solutions that directly support Nordea's transformation. We provide a holistic technological view and a structured understanding of the bank and its surrounding environment, enabling the Customer Vision and the Nordea 2030 Strategy. Your success after one year means we have stable, scalable, and reusable data platform capabilities in production, enabling domain teams to efficiently build and operate high‑quality data products.

About our team

Welcome to the Data Mesh and AI team. We operate at the infrastructure layer of Nordea's data estate, building and maintaining shared data platform capabilities that enable Data Mesh and large‑scale analytics and AI use cases. The team plays a key enabling role for the Data Product Hub under Group Data Management (GDM) by providing robust foundations for data integration, streaming, analytical storage, and governance. In this role you will contribute to the ongoing evolution of our platforms while also ensuring operational stability, reliability, and compliance in a banking‑grade environment. You will work closely with data product teams, platform owners and engineers, and AI stakeholders to ensure data products are discoverable, interoperable, and ready for AI and analytics consumption.

This is a fulltime permanent position with a hybrid working location in Gdansk / Gdynia, Poland.
