Senior Platform Engineer (DevSecOps)

Build the Infrastructure Behind Space Missions

At Creotech Instruments, we develop advanced technologies for space missions, satellite systems and critical infrastructure projects.

We’re building a Platform & DevSecOps team responsible for creating and operating the engineering capabilities that support software development, cybersecurity, AI workloads and mission-critical systems across the organization.

This team serves the entire engineering organization. We identify bottlenecks, improve reliability, automate operations and deliver shared platform capabilities that enable teams to move faster and operate with confidence.

If you enjoy building robust systems, solving complex technical challenges and taking ownership of infrastructure that truly matters, we’d like to hear from you.

Your Role

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will help design, build and operate the internal platforms that support the development and operation of advanced space technologies.

You will work closely with software engineers, cybersecurity specialists, systems engineers and mission teams to ensure our engineering environment remains secure, scalable and reliable.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating and evolving the organization’s CI/CD platform and build infrastructure.

• Designing and maintaining observability solutions covering metrics, logging, tracing and alerting.

• Building and managing infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code and automation-first practices.

• Maintaining software artifact repositories, container registries and distribution services.

• Designing, implementing and regularly validating backup, recovery and disaster recovery procedures.

• Operating production Kubernetes clusters deployed on-premises.

• Improving platform reliability, security and operational efficiency.

• Developing self-service capabilities that simplify infrastructure consumption across engineering teams.

• Supporting the implementation of DevSecOps practices and secure-by-design solutions.

• Contributing to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and technical standards.

What We're Looking For:

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in platform engineering, DevOps, SRE or infrastructure engineering roles.

• Experience operating production-grade infrastructure and supporting engineering teams.

• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.

• Practical experience with Kubernetes in production environments.

• Experience managing CI/CD platforms and build pipelines.

• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management.

• Understanding of networking, storage systems, TLS, PKI and system performance analysis.

• Programming or scripting experience in at least one language such as Python, Go, C#, Java or C++.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical solutions.

• Communicative English, both written and spoken.

Nice to Have

• Experience with self-hosted observability platforms.

• Knowledge of secrets management solutions and PKI operations.

• Experience with Identity and Access Management systems.

• Experience administering virtualization platforms through automation.

• Familiarity with air-gapped, regulated or high-assurance environments.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity and DevSecOps practices.

• Experience supporting mission-critical or high-availability systems.

• Interest in space technologies and satellite systems.

What We Offer:

• Participation in the development of innovative space and high-tech projects.

• An opportunity to contribute to technologies used in satellite missions and advanced engineering systems.

• High level of technical autonomy and real influence on architectural decisions.

• Work with experienced engineers across software, cybersecurity, systems engineering and mission operations.

• Access to modern technologies and complex engineering challenges.

• Professional development opportunities, training and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

• Private healthcare and additional employee benefits.

• Flexible working arrangements.

• A collaborative and engineering-focused working environment.

Why Join Creotech?
