Summary: The role involves providing local IT support for facilitating communication with the central global support team.

Responsibilities:

• Hands-on support for end-user workplace technology, including laptops, thin clients, and peripherals.

• Perform hardware tasks such as cabling, device delivery, setup, imaging, and resets.

• Manage local stock and coordinate storage activities, ensuring accurate asset tracking and availability.

• Act as onsite "eyes and hands" to support the technical room, including basic server and networking support under the guidance of remote teams.

• Coordinate with global teams to ensure seamless integration and escalation of issues as needed.

• Support ad hoc IT needs, including troubleshooting and resolving first-level hardware or connectivity issues.

Key Requirements:

• Proficient in Japanese and English.

• Experience in supporting end-user technology.

• Experience with hardware setup and imaging.

• Basic understanding of server and network support.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with BitLocker, BIOS, and password management issues.

• Experience in software packaging.

• Knowledge of SD-WAN, WiFi, and LAN technologies.
