Senior DevOps Engineer

Position Description
The DBS team is growing, and we are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer. As part of the team, you will get the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies. You will join our DevOps team, in which every engineer takes ownership of a specific area, and you will act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for your assigned team, project or application.
We are looking for a senior professional: someone experienced, who thinks independently, acts proactively, looks for solutions and is not afraid to propose their own improvements.

You will be responsible for
• Managing and monitoring our cloud environment (Azure).
• Managing Kubernetes clusters (AKS).
• Creating, maintaining and improving the tools and processes used to build, release and deploy our software products.
• Monitoring the stability, availability and performance of systems and applications.
• Supporting development teams on application architecture and infrastructure.
• Acting as the SPOC for your assigned team, project or application, owning its DevOps area end to end.
• Proactively identifying problems, finding solutions and proposing improvements.

Position Requirements
Must have
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Strong hands-on experience with Docker.

Required
• Experience with Kubernetes (AKS, Helm).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code: Ansible or Terraform (experience with one is sufficient if you are willing to learn the other), as well as ARM and Bicep.
• Experience with Bash and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience using application monitoring and logging tools, and defining and reporting KPIs.
• Knowledge of load balancers and HTTP reverse proxies.
• Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.

Nice to have
• Experience administering relational databases.

Start date: 01.01.2027 - long term cooperation

Hybrid work model - initially, 20% of working time will be spent in the office, with less frequent office attendance over time, but no less than 10%. Therefore, we prefer candidates based in or near Wrocław.
